About Oasis Cottage

Oasis Cottage is a five-acre country garden near Oxford in North Canterbury, created and cared for by Steph and Laurie around an 1898 cottage. The garden mixes formal, English-inspired structure with looser planting and holds a 3-Star (Notable) rating from the New Zealand Gardens Trust.

It is also a working flower grower and florist, with garden open days from October to March and private visits by arrangement. Small weddings and celebrations of up to 40 guests are held here.

Ceremonies take place among the gardens, with time afterwards for photographs and drinks in the grounds. Rated 5.0 from 19 Google reviews, all five stars.

Garden visit tickets and seasonal bouquets are also available, and events are held by prior arrangement. Seasonal workshops are planned for the future.
